About Andrea
Andrea was born and raised in Colorado where in 2002 she received her esthetician license and began working in a resort day spa. While there, she developed an interest in massage therapy.
After relocating to California, in 2005 Andrea received her CMT (Certified Massage Therapist) from Alive and Well—The Institute of Conscious Bodywork in Corte Madera, California. This provided her the basic knowledge of anatomy and Swedish massage thus allowing her to work as a professional massage therapist. She then furthered her professional education and was instructed in myofascial, acupressure, pregnancy, sports, energy work and more extensive structural anatomy among others.
After accepting a position in a local massage salon in 2006, Andrea worked with fifty clients a month and developed a wide range of experience through different body types and structural problems.
A year and half later, Andrea opened her own private practice. In 2008, she completed her CBW (Conscious Bodyworker) and now has an office in a cyclist training center. At the Whole Athlete Performance Center she focuses on therapeutic and sports recovery massage while continuing her in-home practice.
